Real-time measurement of concrete temperature and strength

Giatec SmartRock™ is a wireless ruggedized sensor designed for the quality control of concrete materials. This sensor can be easily installed in the formwork during the construction of a new structure. After pouring concrete, the sensor records the temeprature history of concrete. The data can be wirelessly downloaded using the mobile application via Bluetooth. The algorithms on the mobile application analyze the data in real-time based on the maturity concept and estimate the strength of concrete.

This information is critical in various operations such as formwork removal time, optimization of curing conditions, applying load on concrete, prestressed concrete manufacturing, concrete mix design, etc.

The data, graphs, and analyzed results can be easily shared using the mobile app in the CSV format.
